This 2-day safari takes you to two of Tanzania’s most famous wildlife destinations. Start with Tarangire National Park, known for its large elephant herds, baobab trees, and rich wildlife along the river. Then continue to the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, a natural wonder filled with lions, zebras, buffalo, and many other animals living inside a unique volcanic caldera.
This tour offers an unforgettable experience of Tanzania’s nature, scenery, and wildlife in a short time.
Day-by-Day Itinerary
Depart from Arusha in the morning and drive to Tarangire National Park. Enjoy a full-day game drive with chances to see large elephant herds, lions, giraffes, zebras, and beautiful baobab trees. Later in the evening, drive to your lodge/camp for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the crater for a game drive. Explore this natural wonder filled with the Big Five and many other animals. After lunch, ascend the crater and return to Arusha in the late afternoon or evening.
